Job Description

Key responsibilities

Development of US Upstream Oil and Gas market, new drilling applications and existing drilling applications. Add value with specialist measurement and instrumentation services across the Americas territory (USA, Canada, and Brazil). Would be targeting existing clients of my Client.

Develop strategic knowledge and understanding of Americas market, establish and build relationships with key decision makers. Develop pipeline of opportunities for delivery over 2019/2020/2021 against specialist measurement and instrumentation technology offering.

Build on existing relationships, establish new buying relationships, overcome objections, build knowledge on nucleonic gauges instrumentation use in production processes.

Year 1 build market knowledge develop sales strategy, build opportunity pipeline

Years 2&3 delivery of pipelined business establishment of repeat business + expansion

Years 5 onwards established in market and seen as technology partner of choice

50+% working out of office and travelling

Candidate Background

Upstream, Houston, Specialist Measurement and instrumentation.

Understanding or experience of nucleonic gauge applications (highly desirable). Someone with industry contacts through his or her existing work (highly desirable).

Degree Highly desirable or equivalent level in industry experience must have technical background, plus 5 - 10 years’ experience of Oil and Gas industry

A motivated self-starter, someone with the entrepreneurial spirit and not afraid of failure or rejection. Has existing network of contacts in upstream Oil and Gas industry (highly desirable)

5 years industry experience and market experience Measurement and Instrumentation equipment market. Know suppliers / OEM’s/ TPI’s.

Demonstration of successful track record with either a single major account, or management of 3-6 key accounts.
