Our client is an integrated gold mining operation that combines the Cortez and Goldstrike properties in Nevada, employing a total of 3,000 employees and 800 contractors. The operation utilizes both open pit and underground mining methods with Autoclave and Roaster processing facilities at Goldstrike and Milling/Heap Leaching facilities at Cortez. Position Description: The client is looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to join the HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible to implement talent acquisition strategies, policies and standardized systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain the full-life cycle recruitment process and internal workflow

• Develop and implement strategies and initiatives related to recruiting and retaining diverse talent. • Provide consultation and coaching to all levels of management to improve workforce diversity.

• Develop and implement scalable processes as required and based on business conditions to ensure recruiting workflow

• Provide ongoing reporting of key recruitment metrics to the leadership team

• Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source

• Sets the social media communication strategy for site recruitment campaigns in accordance with the global human resources strategic recruitment initiatives

• Personally conduct recruitment campaigns for certain site leadership positions or other key jobs

• Identify and deploy best practices for recruitment with a focus on operational excellence, competitive and cost-effective recruitment solutions.

• Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to hiring managers as job responsibilities change/evolve over time due to business growth and changes in organizational structure

• Recommend research and analyzes data in support of the development and evaluation of recruitment plans, and the evaluation of market conditions and applicant pools

• Utilize various proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive and quality candidates

• Ensures recruitment process is compliant with state and federal and employment laws.

• Partner with talent management to design and implement recruitment training for recruiters and other site leaders

• Partner with global and U.S. recruiting teams to ensure consistent recruiting practices and processes are followed.

• Partner with leadership team to understand hiring needs in order to effectively develop and execute recruitment strategies Head of Talent Acquisition

• Partner with employee relations to ensure effective onboarding of employees

• Partner with stakeholders and leverage off current employees to ensure workforce diversity

• Partner with total rewards to ensure that the best offer is developed, negotiated and delivered to internal and external candidates

• Manages and develops the recruitment team

• Research, evaluate and manage external recruitment agency relationships

• Act as the expert within the site on talent acquisition processes and practices that support the site and corporate initiatives

• Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required by the team to achieve business plans and targets

• Support the achievement of a well-developed, motivated and business focused culture, which understands and values philosophies through sound talent acquisition practices Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science in Human Resources, Business Management, or other related field and/or ten (10) or more years progressive senior-level managerial experience in human resources required

• PHR or SHRM-CP or equivalent professionals’ designation from other jurisdictions preferred • Experience in talent acquisition functions preferred

• Diversity initiative implementation experience preferred

• Mining or construction industry experience preferred

• Extensive knowledge of MS office, Oracle or other HRIS platforms within business enterprise systems required

• Extensive knowledge of Taleo or online Applicant Tracking Systems preferred

• Extensive knowledge of Discovery or online Talent Management systems preferred

• Demonstrated ability to perform essential function of the position required

• Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

• Excellent organizational, time management and office management skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently

• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
