My client are looking for Shop Hands to assist with safely and
efficiently cleaning, maintaining and rebuilding company equipment, loading
& unloading and staging equipment and maintaining a clean and organized
shop and yard.
- Responsible for pressure
- Perform maintenance and
repairs on equipment.
- Loading and staging
equipment for rollout.
- Maintains inventory,
supplies and equipment needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Manages and maintains
equipment, inventory and other assets.
- Resolves operational,
problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
- Reviews operations to meet
requirements for equipment or outsourcing
- Responsible for maintaining
- Ability to conduct pre-trip
and post-trip inspections on company vehicles based on DOT requirements.
- Conduct basic maintenance on
company vehicles to ensure safe working condition of vehicle.
- Communicate with direct
supervisor concerning repairs needed for vehicles.
- Operate forklift to load and
- Daily inspections of yard
and equipment and regular housekeeping.
- Count and assist in
management of inventory.
- Maintain and environmentally
clean work place.
- Function as a lead during
rig up and operation of equipment.
- Other duties as requested.

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions
at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job
sites may be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical
parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and
humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Work may be performed under
hazardous conditions such as operating heavy equipment within roadway right-of-way
and/or difficult rig setups. Requires manual labor and extensive travel for
long periods of time. Required to wear all Company issued safety gear on
job-site when needed per managements discretion.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that

this job. The position requires lifting heavy objects, walks, sit,
balance, and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical
labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or
carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over
time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, bends, twists, sprints or throws
objects. Frequently lifts items more than 50 pounds. While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The
position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and
multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms
and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work schedule varies, with some
weekends, nights, out of town, and 7 Days a week. Position typically works
12-hour days, with high amounts of overtime.
Travel is primarily local during the business day. Out-of-area and
overnight travel is expected. Extensive travel for long periods of time is

Preferred Education and Experience
- Preferred High School
diploma or equivalent.
- More than 2 years of
experience in the field or in a related area
- Advance computer skills
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must possess or can obtain a
valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment and keep
this license up to date.
- Safeland USA Basic, H2’s
- Federally Approved Photo
I.D. accepted by Military bases, homeland security, etc.
- Must maintain the ability to
pass extensive Homeland Security Background screening required per job.
- Must maintain a MVR that is
acceptable according to Company policy.
