South Texas Sales Manager is primarily responsible for the design, implementation and execution of a strategic marketing plan by connecting the organization to industry markets, including but not limited to Texas and the surrounding area. Obtaining new and prospective customers will be a Key Objective to support business interests.
Responsibilities: South Texas Sales Manager
1.Create a strategic marketing plan.
2.Maintain regular consistent contact with customers to ensure their satisfaction and follow-up on new market opportunities as identified by management or industry insight.
3. Be responsible for maintaining a customer database and updating management with new developments in the industry, while actively pursuing market share opportunities.
4. Attend and support industry specific meetings and seminars to maintain industrial relationships.
5. Set up reports to submit weekly, monthly or at other reporting intervals maintaining direct communication to the VP General Manager regarding sales and sales opportunities.
6. Conduct regular and frequent site visits to obtain operational knowledge, feedback and gain a clear understanding of products and production capacities.
5 years proven successful sales experience in frac sand or industrial sand sales
Business development experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable about comparative market leveraging ability
Creating and presenting business proposals to external customers
Strong understanding of key metrics which drive the frac sand market
Basic knowledge of frac technology and understanding of factors affecting regional markets
Effective prioritization of work activities
Utilize strong interpersonal skills to relate well to all kinds of people inside and outside of the organization
Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated to achieve goals
Reacts proactively to solve challenging problems
Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and resourcefulness to meet commitments
